“ Tasty homemade beef kimbap. A bit pricey but good for a quick bite. Was quite quick for takeout. ”
“ Small store with a variety of Korean food offered at a very affordable price. If you come at a busy time, you will have to wait in line as there isn't much seating available on the inside. I ordered a cheese gimbap and rabokki. Both dishes were delicious, was just a bit dissapointed by the portion size of the rabokki. Overall, worth a visit if you want to try some Korean food! ”
“ Superb place, i went to many Bakery around the city, but was not satisifed. “ When I went to London for the first time a few months ago I wanted something different from European food and the thought of fish and chips just wasn't cutting it. I wanted something spicy so I decided to go to Seoul Bakery. Now let me preface my judgment with the the fact that I am an LA native but more importantly a Koreatown native which means I know good Korean food from subpar Korean food. Seoul Bakery felt like being back in Koreatown, everything I ordered was flavorful, filling and I sincerely enjoyed every bite. It's not often that you find good Korean food outside of densely Korean populated cities so if you want to get your Korean food fix, Seoul Bakery is the place. ”
“ Love this place. If you're traveling and you're on a tight budget, this is a good place to dine. Having Korean food in London can be extremely pricey and this place is just great to dine in without feeling the pinch in your wallet. I've been here a bunch of times, it's a tiny little restaurant with very limited seats available. More often you'll find a queue outside, especially during peak hours. However they move really fast and people tend to go in and out quite quickly. They do takeaways as well. Definitely not a place for big groups. Maybe a max of 4pax would be the most. Otherwise you might have to wait. On an average, you could have a decent meal with a drink for about £8. The portions are generous and it's well worth the money you pay for. Cash only though. This is an alcohol free place, you won't find any soju but you'll have a good range of flavoured teas available. Tap water is available for free. There are also vegetarian options, however I don't think they do vegan or gluten free. What we ordered for two: 1. Fried kimchi pancake: £7 (recommended) 2. Kimchi Jiggae with rice (spicey) : £6 (recommended) 3. Ramyen with rice cakes (spicey) : £6.50 They don't take reservations. Go there early and some times you'll find yourself ahead of the queue. You'll be welcomed by a very colourful setting. Feel free to draw on their walls too :) ”
“ I discovered this place by walking by and I came back for lunch time with my friends. The place is small but nice and really kpop atmosphere ( like it !) The dishes are really cheap and the size is pretty good. I ordered the beef bibimbap set with kimchi and soybean soup. It was really good and authentic ( even if the bibimbap wasn't in a stone bowl unfortunately ) I recommend this place if you're looking for a nice place to have Korean food and for a small appetite ”
“ This place is so cute that I found it by literally stopping on the street and staring into its adorable graffiti, K-pop filled interior. I was charmed by the sign which pointed to the British Museum on one side and Seoul, Korea in the other direction and after eating there twice I can say that it was worth stopping for. It is cash only, more than reasonable with mains averaging at £6.50, generously portioned, and delicious. The food tastes homemade and wholesome and I really enjoyed my beef bibimbap as well the spicy beef udon noodle soup, which as the name says, is spiiiiiii-cyyyy, whoo! I can take it, but wow, I am so glad for the considerate bottle of tap water on each table with the cute little metal glasses. That soup is perfect for chilly London days and the bibimbap is also very comforting. I was not a big fan of the fried vegetable dumplings, or the tuna ghimbap/kimbap (is this Korean sushi? I have never seen it before), but the chicken ghimbap was really nice and very filling and generous in size. I have also tried the chicken bibimbap (what are friends for other than sharing food), and it was also yummy. I also really enjoyed the Korean coffee here which ha that sugary goodness both hot or iced. The decor is cuteness incarnate, with Sailor Moon graffiti greeting me as I entered. It is a tiny place, but 2 people seem to get seated quite quickly. I don't mind eating elbow to elbow with my fellow diners and I like the cosiness, with graffiti and cute K-pop merchandise surrounding me from all sides. They also sell cute Korean goods like stationary and stickers if you're interested, just look around. The service was friendly and super quick and this place is a total find. The location is nice too, very close to the British Museum. I will definitely be coming back! ”
